Ministry Overview
The Needy Ministry has been part of Ridgeways Baptist since inception, more than 20 years ago and complements the central theme of the church as a support structure. We believe it our duty as Christians to care for those in our midst and around us who are needy. – James 1:27 – ” Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after the orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world”
The Social Services ministry is comprised of 22 members who serve in four sub-committees namely;
- Education Sub committee
- Benevolence Sub committee
- Income Generating Sub committee
- Visitation Sub committee
