The Ladies Ministry is also a part of the Family Board and expected to embrace the Family Board vision, to support the Board through meeting participation, and to carry out joint church-wide activities.
The LMLT members are nominated by the ladies in the congregation, through secret ballot, and vetted by the pastoral and deacon team in accordance with the defined criteria and character traits for leaders and leadership. The Leadership Team serves a two year term beginning January to December of the second year. The LMLT ensures that the women of RBC are given opportunities to discuss and live out their faith through biblical instruction, service, and fellowship.
OBJECTIVES
- Spiritual Growth – through the study of God’s word in discipleship, Bible studies, prayer.
- Service – to reach out to one another in times of celebration and loss; and to reach out to the community with the love of Christ.
- Fellowship – provide forums for sharing, encouraging and equipping
- Mentorship and Coaching – to touch, empower, and strengthen relationships.
